View His IMDB Page Michael Wincott

Some people were simply born to play Villains. They have that Aura of Evil or a Talent for Giving Nasty Looks or a Voice of Terrifying Timber. Michael Wincott has all three. As Guy of Gisbourne in the Awful Kevin Costner version of Robin Hood, Mr. Wincott not only gets to act opposite Lovely Hot Bad Guy Alan Rickman and to deliver lines like, "Why a spoon?," but he gets to be generally intimidating to Those Nasty Merry Men.

Mr. Wincott continued in his Villainous Ways as Rochefort in The Three Musketeers with Hotties Oliver Platt, Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, and Chris O'Donnell. While he didn't look quite as attractive as usual in this film, what with the eye patch and all, he certainly was Villainous. If I recall the film correctly, he was the Assigned Regicide. And his way with a sword was simply marvelous. I just love a man who can handle his...er...

Mr. Wincott's Evil Trio was completed in 2002 with his portrayal of Armand Dorleac, d'If Warden in The Count of Monte Cristo. He got lines like, "Now you're thinking, just now "Why me, O God?" The answer is God has nothing to do with it. In fact, God is never in France this time of year." Dude. That's a pretty evil thing to say while you're whipping a prisoner. And we wonder why Dantes tries to escape (other than his desire for revenge). I also love a man who can handle his...er...whip. So, for all his Evil Ways, we welcome Michael Wincott to the Hot Bad Pantheon.

Hotness: it's all about that sexy voice
Badness: abusive, power-hungry, eye patch, the guy's got it all
Guyness: he pulls off some pretty sketchy outfits with aplomb
