As this Goddess personally prefers the chiseled good
looks and flinty stare of Hot Bad Guy Ed Harris (who plays the
good guy, Billy, in Knightriders opposite a young and
rather hot Tom Savini), she will attempt not to
short-change the delightfully pleasant Savini, with
whom she had a charming dinner a few years back. We
discussed the likelihood of raising prawns on Mars,
the state of Descartian philosophy, the color of
people's palms, and other common dinnertime topics.
In Knightriders Savini plays Morgon, a jealous and ambitious member of a traveling group of motorcyclist-jousters who perform for the public's entertainment. Morgon, aka The Black Knight, wants Ed Harris's spot as the "king", and he wants the limelight any way he can get it. He connives to bring King Billy down, destroying the close-knit community of the traveling performers while he's at it. He's gorgeous and in the prime of his life at this time in his acting career, which lands Savini solidly on our hot bad guy list for portraying the archetypal bad guy dressed in black with sexy savoir faire.
