Universe? Who knew that the Lifetime Movie Kids Don't Tell and Spacecamp were a breeding
ground for such fabulous Evilitude? While his Hottitude in Gladiator may be overshadowed
by the Also Lovely Russell Crowe, his Glory may also be seen in movies such as Inventing the Abbotts, supported by a Cornucopia of Lovely Actors, and as the Only Lovely Thing in
8MM, if you don't mind Purveyors of Pornography. As Commodus, the scheming, manipulative,
proto-incestuous Roman Emperor in Gladiator, His Evilitude is utterly unmatched.
His turn in Gladiator starts out unevenly, as he is revealed to be a Pouty Little Boy when told that he won't succeed his father, but in True Hot Bad Guy Fashion, he rises to the occasion and offs him. Perhaps at his creepiest when threatening his sister/love interest? (eeuw), under the pretext of telling his nephew a story about their ancestors. It's creepy enough that even the nephew picks up that there's more going on than just storytime with Uncle Psycho.
Cool and calculating, only wanting the best for his Empire. Suure. He's as megalomaniacal as they come, Our Hot Bad Guy.
