We can all use a day to remember a couple of Our Great Presidents, in this case George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. And what better way to do that than by appreciating Our Hot Bad Guys in presidential roles?
Dave - Hot Bad Guy Kevin Kline takes over the Oval Office in Dave and it sure doesn't hurt that Future Hot Bad Guys Frank Langella and Ben Kingsley are there as well. Mr. Kline is all kinds of presidential.
American President - Another Hot President? Brilliant! How come we never get these guys in reality? This time it's Michael Douglas as The Most Powerful Man in the World. Say, is it getting warm in here?
Air Force One - Although President Harrison Ford (Say, I like the sound of that!) seems like he wants to say "dammit" after every single one of his lines, this Great Flick also stars Cool Bad Guy Gary Oldman in one of his qualifying roles. Plus, you'll need a little action after the lovey Presidential Romances recommended above.
Patriot Games - Hey, it's Harrison Ford again! This time he doesn't play Our Loyal Chief Executive, but it's kind of about presidents. In a way. Or it's just a blatant excuse to watch Hot Bad Guy Sean Bean in a black leather jacket. And let's not forget that it also stars Cool Bad Guys Samuel L. Jackson and James Earl Jones!
There are a couple of appropriate snacks for your Hot Bad President's Day. Honor George Washington by eating some cherry pie. Or make up a batch of Johnny Cake, like they did during the Civil War. Or... something...
While watching your movies, take some time out to play with Abraham Lincoln's favorite toy, the Lincoln Logs. Or have a lumberjack contest and see who can split rails the fastest! No hatchets in the house, though, kids!
