Ah yes, April Fool's Day, the day on which anyone can get away with any thing. If you need a respite from silly string and spraying flowers, why not take a break and watch a couple of movies with your buddies.
Ridicule - This French film depicts life at the French Court during the reign of Louis XIV. It was a time when the worst thing that could happen to a person was public ridicule.
If you're just looking for something Silly to cap off your day of mania, try pretty much anything involving Monty Python. I am, of course referring to Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian, and The Meaning of Life, a Trinity of Very Silly Movies.
As far as snacks go, it doesn't get much sillier than Jell-O, but even I was amazed at the depth and breadth of Jell-O recipes available. I mean, just look! I'm a particular fan of the recipes for Chicken Taco Salad and the Red, White, and Blue Jell-O Mold. Hmmm... Perhaps we should save that one for the Hot Bad Fourth of July.
