Oh, what an insipid piece of dreck was Ghost. (You know Princess is upset when she resorts to Yiddish.) Does Patrick Swayze do anything but look constipated? Does Demi Moore do anything but cry? Does Whoopi Goldberg, Academy Award notwithstanding, do anything but act wacky? Fortunately, salvation comes in the Oh So Sexy and Evil Form of Tony Goldwyn, little known actor, but Big Time Baddie. After a somewhat inauspicious debut in Friday the 13th Part VI, Mr. Goldwyn went on to play Carl Bruner (no relation to Hans Gruber) in Ghost. Sure, Carl seemed nice at the beginning - helping his buddies work on their warehouse/apartment/art showcase, helping Patrick Swayze get some of his work done, blah, blah, blah. Then, come to find out that Carl is the "mastermind" behind the failed "robbery" that got Mr. Swayze "killed," plus he tries to "comfort" the "widow" by taking his shirt off for a prolonged dramatic "scene" in which he's "skeevy" and "Demi Moore" cries. (Sorry about the extraneous quotes. I just can't take this movie seriously at all.)

That Carl is a Bad Guy is without doubt. In fact, if you were in doubt, just check out his Death Scene. He's taken off by scary shadowy types, clearly meant to convince the audience that he's bad. That he is Hot is also without question. You would think, though, that as the real-life brother of Paramount President John Goldwyn, he would get more movie roles. Clearly, his Evilness has not spread to his personal life. What a disappointment.

Hotness: he wields a sledgehammer
Badness:
Guyness: would be lower because he's a banker, but see above sledgehammer note
