Rupert Friend
There are few more skeevy characters in literature than Jane Austen’s despicable Mr. Wickham in Pride and Prejudice. He bilks Mr. Darcy out of thousands of pounds and basically spends his time seducing young women in hopes of adding to his rapidly depleting bank account. He, alas, succeeds in capturing Lydia Bennet, who probably didn’t need a lot of help along the way.
So, you see, almost any Hot Guy who plays the odious Mr. Wickham fares a good chance of making Our Hot Bad Guys list. We were just lucky that in the 2005 version (curse you, ampersand!) that he was played by the Amazingly Gorgeous Rupert Friend. And can he ever fill out a set of regimentals! Tragically, we hardly get to see him in this pared down adaptation, but what we do see… Well, it’s memorable. Here’s hoping he comes back to give us a lot more villainy in the future, complete with sword.

that uniform really helps
