Don Cheadle

Don, where did you come from and can we have some more? Yes, folks, he's just too cute for words, but we'll use words anyway and see if we can do him half a justice. In his small but terrifying role in Out of Sight as an evil, psychotic prison gangster named Snoopy/Maurice, Don shows us his lesser-seen dark side. He's usually squeaky-clean on the screen, and comes across earnest and loveable, even when playing a porn star in Boogie Nights or a frenetic bomb-maker (Ocean's Eleven, also directed by Steven Soderbergh, who did Out of Sight).

What is it that makes him so mesmerizing? It's not classic good looks, because he's kind of quirky-looking, and it's not romantic leading-man roles, because he rarely gets those sorts of jobs. We Hot Bad Goddesses guess it's what he does with the varied roles he takes on. He morphs and makes us believe, all while reminding us that if he were the boy next door, we wouldn't mind having a summer romance in the treehouse with him. In Out of Sight, Don leaps across the screen with menace in every step and slit-eyed glare. When he shanks a fellow inmate, well... his ferocity is certainly believable.

Hotness: (c'mon Don, take a leading man role, or perhaps another bad guy role with sexy bits!)
Badness: (Maurice is chilling)
Guyness: (He's no more or less manly than most of the others on our list, but nothing to sneeze at either.)
